Overview
This guide is focused on the design and media content part (#XECartisan), but for the development part (#XECengineer) we keep a similar line of thought in principle.
We will not necessarily explain in detail on how to make content, but some conceptual clarification to understand what to expect from our content rewards.
Design
Our definition of good-looking is not strict, but it usually needs to satisfy a popular aesthetic, so these few guidelines can be helpful:
Clean: Fewer elements and simpler content tend to be less error-prone. Composition: Think of pixels as having weight and keep the center of gravity of the content even. Res1、Res2 Color Distance: Use colors rationally and understand the distance between colors.
Design is a professional craft and cannot fully be explained by this short guide. But if you are interested to learn more about it, you can check:
Design-Font
Currently, the fonts used on the official website of eCash include two fonts: Montserrat and Poppins. In terms of fonts, the choice is actually very wide, such as Apple's San Francisco or inter, roboto, etc. are very modern and clean.
Please don’t try to use different font families and styles in one picture. It would be ideal if you keep it simple by using our official fonts listed in the eCash brand-kit
Design-Icon
For icons, here are some good tips you can apply to your designs. There are also free items you can use for your creations.
Design-Composition
Composition is determined by a lot of things, line spacing, font size, weight, etc. You can find your own specifications in many reference documents. But more importantly, remember that all pixels have weight, and you are a person walking on a balance beam.

Design-Color
At present, there is no strict design language for eCash ecology.
The design style of eCash adopts the common blue-purple cyberpunk style, which is a generalized design style, similar to the difference between cold and warm in Hollywood, which can easily bring a good experience to the look and feel.
Therefore, in the choice of style, I suggest moving closer to "future", "cyberpunk", "technology", "neon lights" and "3D", which is more in line with eCash's future vision.
Since eCash makes a lot of use of blue, and blue is easy to stylistically deviate, if your expectation is to enhance future elements, I recommend adding adjacent or complementary colors such as purple, orange, red and yellow.
You can also find official brand colors in our eCash brand-kit.

For an even more professional look, I also recommend that you adopt some cool elements, such as blur, gradient, laser, etc.

For 3D Artisans
If you like working on colors, then you will definitely want to understand the light source in depth.
For this, 3D is the better choice and we welcome more 3D elements.

Design-Reusable
It's more valuable if your work has source files (.svg/.fig/.raw, etc.) that can be reused by the rest of the community.
eg: reusable components and materials
eg: Created by alitayin based on a open vector material, you can adjust the content at will to meet different scenes.
Design-Practical
A good design or engineering project must be practical. Therefore, the needs must be well positioned.
For engineering projects, if you only have one potential user, then it is difficult to be successful, even if it has a very good UI/UX.
For useful content, it must be easily disseminated, or can be used in different occasions, and not just displayed as "a good-looking picture".
Eg. I created a 3D logo for eCash and shared it with reusable source files; we do see a lot of secondary creations based on this model, or personalized transformations.

About Originality and Creativity
When your work or idea is highly original, it doesn't even need to highlight the eCash logo, because its theme is related and the originality makes it highly reusable. Conversely, if the content or idea is not original, you will try to put a logo on it instead, like everyone else. So, in a sense, the best fit doesn't need a logo, but it's not easy.
(For example, if you can create a video of similar caliber and quality, you have a good chance of winning major awards)

Personally, for artisan content, I recommend Figma and Procreate.
